Katy was a member of the Executive Board of the Colorado chapter of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) from 2018-2021. In this role, she redesigned and edited the biannual newsletter, helped plan and run the 2020 virtual state conference, and facilitated CoACDA's Critical Conversations around Race with Dr. Anthony Trecek-King and Melanie Trecek-King and the Anti-Racism Task Force. Katy also co-created the Colorado Choir Consortium to provide collaborative and networking opportunities for community choirs serving adult singers in Colorado.
